Recommended food pairings: Prosecco Rosé is a great drink to kick off an evening and enjoy throughout the night. While delicious on its own, it is also perfect with Tasmanian smoked salmon with a squeeze of lemon juice. Or try it with tempura squid and a sweet chilli dipping sauce.
Growing Conditions: The grapes for this wine were grown throughout Victoria including the cool climate King Valley. The fruit was picked with a baumé ranging from 9.5 to 10.5.
Winemaker: Geoff Alexander
Winemaking notes: After primary
fermentation the wine was then fermented in a pressure tank to 5 atmospheres of pressure and bottled to retain the bubbles. A small percentage of Cienna was added to obtain the rosé blush. The Prosecco Rosé finished with an alcohol of 12.0%.
