The Jesus del Perdon cooperative in Manzanares in northeastern Spain was founded in 1954 by 102 winegrowers. In 2000, it merged with 2 other cooperatives in the region, resulting in one large cooperative with 700 winegrowers with a total production of 25 million kilos of grapes. In recent years, major investments have been made in vinification techniques. They have 3600 hectares of vineyard, on which, in addition to mainly Airen, also Macabeo, Chardonnay and Cencibel are grown, but also Tempranillo, Merlot and Syrah.
