The Luberon Regional Natural Park acts as the setting for the Luberon vineyards. These currently are spread over 36 villages, all situated in the south east of the Vaucluse department. Classified as Mediterranean but under the influence of a more continental climate from the Alpes and Rhone Valley. The Luberon is one of the most sun-drenched regions in France with approximately 2,600 hours of sun per year.

Grape varieties
A blend of Grenache blanc, Vermentino, Viognier and Roussanne

Terroir
As the selected vines are planted in Miocene sands and limestone scree of altitude 200 for 450 metres, they are subject to a wide range of temperatures over the day which gives the wine its freshness.

Harvest
Harvesting is carried out at night, by machine, to limit oxidation and preserve the aromatic qualities.

Vinification
Total destemming followed by a gentle pressing. Cold static settling. Low temperature alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine is protected from oxygen to preserve its aromatic potential.

Maturing
5 months ageing on the fine lees in stainless steel vats.
