The story of Malfy Con Rosa Gin

Malfy is an Italian gin distilled at Torino Distillati in Moncalieri, on the edge of Turin in Piedmont. The brand was created by Biggar & Leith, a company formed in 2015 to build spirits with small, family-owned European distilleries, and the first Malfy gins reached the United States in March 2016. Malfy Rosa followed, launching in the UK in June 2018.

Rosa is a pink grapefruit gin. Sicilian pink grapefruit is combined with Italian juniper, and five botanicals, lemon, grapefruit, angelica root, orris root and coriander, are distilled for five hours in a vacuum still. The result is a pale pink spirit with fresh citrus on top and juniper underneath, bottled at 41% ABV.

The 50ml miniature is a single serve, enough for one long drink. Pour it over plenty of ice in a large glass, top with a Mediterranean style tonic and add a slice of pink grapefruit. Keep the tonic light so the grapefruit and juniper stay in front.
