The story of Cockburns Special Res

Cockburn's Special Reserve was introduced in 1969 as the first Reserve Port, creating a new Port category.

The wine is selected for its richness and concentration from vineyards in the Upper Douro, then matured in oak casks for five years. The longer time in wood gives the fruity, full bodied palate a distinctive dry finish.
