The story of Export 33 15x330B

Export 33 is a low carbohydrate lager from DB Breweries, the Auckland company behind the Export family of beers, a line that goes back to 1958. The 33 arrived in 2008 and went on to become the top-selling low carbohydrate beer in New Zealand.

The difference is in the brewing. Export 33 is fermented 33 per cent longer than a standard brew, which gives the yeast more time to work through the sugars. The result stays effervescent and refreshing rather than tasting thin or watery. The beer took a Gold Quality Award at the 2011 World Quality Selections run by Monde Selection, alongside Export Gold and Export Dry.

Serve it well chilled, from the bottle or poured into a cold glass. A clean, light lager like this sits easily beside barbecued sausages, fish and chips, grilled chicken and fresh salads, where it lets the food do the talking. This pack holds fifteen 330ml bottles.
