The story of Graham Nortons Prosecco NV

Graham Norton's Own is a wine range made with Invivo, the New Zealand company started in Auckland in 2008 by winemaker Rob Cameron and his old school friend Tim Lightbourne. The partnership began with a 2015 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, and the Prosecco, launched in 2018, was the fourth wine added to the range.

The grapes come from the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions of northern Italy, and the wine is 100% Glera, the grape of Prosecco, made under the Prosecco DOC. It is labelled Extra Dry. Norton and the Invivo team tried eight different blends before settling on a drier style. In the glass it has fine bubbles and aromas of white flowers with a hint of citrus, and it finishes crisp.

Serve it well chilled. Its light, fresh style suits being poured at a picnic or a casual lunch, and it goes with pizza and other simple food. It also works as the sparkling base for a spritz.
