The 2019 Mount Michael Pinot Noir was hand harvested from a single Bannockburn site. The hotter than usual 2019 vintage led to an early picking of the fruit. Winemaking was very gentle, with a shorter time on skins. Minimal additions has led to a wine of real purity and great intensity.
“The Mount Michael Pinot Noir is sweetly fruited and beautifully fragrant on the nose. Showing dark cherry, vanilla, hazelnut, olive and subtle spice aromas, leading to a succulent palate that’s delightfully weighted and velvety. It’s flavoursome and lingering with ripe fruit flavours with elegant savoury nuances, making it delectably appealing."
