The story of Pegasus Bay Mer/Cab

Pegasus Bay Merlot Cabernet is a deep ruby colour. The Merlot provides purple plum flavours and a plump, fleshy mid palate, while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds cassis and a backbone of ripe, mouth filling tannins.

Small portions of Cabernet Franc and Malbec lift the bouquet, with the Malbec adding a whiff of rose petals, and they add to the structure and length. It is a big, dense, chewy wine that expands in the mouth, with a lingering, spicy after taste.
