The story of Long White Apple Pear 10x320B
Long White is a New Zealand vodka mixer brand, now owned by Asahi Beverages NZ, which took over from Independent Liquor, the company behind it in earlier years. The drinks are developed by Asahi's liquid development team in Auckland, and the range has grown to include flavours such as Lemon and Lime, Passionfruit, Raspberry, Feijoa and Apple and Pear.
This pack is ten 320 ml bottles of Apple and Pear, at 4.8% alcohol by volume. Each bottle holds about 1.2 standard drinks. The base is triple distilled vodka, mixed with New Zealand sparkling water, natural apple and pear flavours and a dash of lemon juice, so it is lightly sparkling.
It is designed to be drunk cold. Take a bottle straight from the fridge, or pour it over ice with a slice of apple or a wedge of lemon. It pairs well with salty and savoury food such as barbecued sausages, chips or a cheese board. Pace yourself, and keep a jug of water on the table when you are sharing a pack.
