The story of Garage Hapi Daze 6x330ml Can

Garage Project is an independent brewery that started in 2011 in the Wellington suburb of Aro Valley. Pete Gillespie and Jos Ruffell began brewing in a dilapidated car garage, with help from Pete's brother Ian, making 50 litre batches. They became known for releasing 24 new beers in 24 weeks.

Hapi Daze is one of its pale ales. The brewery says hāpi is the Māori word for hop, and describes the beer as a truly Pacific pale ale, brewed with New Zealand barley and four local hops, Motueka, Wai-iti, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. It is assertively hoppy but exceptionally drinkable, and at 4.6% it sits at an easy session strength.

Expect a fruit bowl of flavours, with grape, gooseberry, passionfruit, melon and freshly cut grass.
